Visit the
AMI Imaging Center

The AMI Visting Researcher Program consists of exclusive access to one of five microscopes for up to four weeks. This access includes dedicated assistance,  guidance, and training from a technical expert who will work alongside you in performing a successful and informative experiment—as well as analysing all data necessary to answer the research question. During this time, we allow for the development of suitable imaging experiments from pilot studies to full scale experiments.

Projects are selected based on scientific merit by a panel of global life science researchers. Projects using samples up to BSL2 can be accommodated.

The AMI Visiting Researcher Program is completely Open Access and free-to-use. Furthermore, up to two researchers from a selected project will be provided transport to the AMI Imaging Center from anywhere on the continent as well as accommodation for the duration of the visit.

Announcements of open calls will be distributed through the AMI Newsletter and will begin in early 2023. We encourage all interested researchers to enquire with AMI staff and  >> schedule a project consultation .
